Dear Lady that sat in front of us on the plane,
Traveling with children can be a difficult and stressful task. Especially when you are outnumbered by the children 2 to 1. I noticed you had a young baby boy with you and your hubby. Was he about 4 months old?
Just wait. Once he is older he will turn that crying into squirming and “are we there yets.” I was very proud of my sons. They did wonderful. They did not kick the seats, cry, fight or carry on in any ill mannered way.
Yet.
When my 5 year old slipped in his seat and used his feet on the back of your seat to push himself up you felt the need to yell at him. Why?
First off, he only did that a few times over several hours. Personally, if it was that much of an issue maybe you should of said something directly to me and not my 5 year old. You really scared him. In five year old terms, he was behaving like a super star, and it’s not like he was continually kicking the seat, I made sure I kept an eye on that.
I didn’t feel the need to complain to your hubby about the massive amount of dandruff falling out of his hair down the back of his seat. But let me tell you-gross. Dude needs some prescription shampoo or maybe a hat?
I didn’t ask you to stop your wittle preshus baby from crying. Or stinking up the plane with his diaper and you deciding not to change it and let us all share in the wonderus odor. Oh did you imagine we didn’t notice? Yeah. we did.
Lady, you got a long road ahead of you and it’s just beginning. I suggest you choose your actions with little ones more wisely.
Oh, and if by chance you are on our return flight, (please. please) I will let my 4 year old sit behind you. And he WAS kicking. hard….
Sincerely,
Stressed out but proud
