Frugal Friday- Join the Revolution

In the past week, I have noticed several posts about the new Revolution Money Exchange. You may have read some, you may have signed up. If not, I would encourage you to take signing up into serious consideration and quickly!
Refer A Friend using Revolution Money Exchange

Not only does RME have some impressive qualities (ie. no fee to accept $) and well known founders, but right now, if you sign up with RME, you will receive $25 in your account. The registration was easy and quick. It should be noted, however, that it is required that you give a social security number, much like the rival Paypal.

Which brings me to my next point. Paypal. Paypal is the exact reason why I signed up with RME. Many of you may remember the problems I had with Paypal. Since the entire situation started, I have refused to use Paypal, which has not always been easy. I even turned down working with some great ad agencies because they only paid through Paypal.

I am so happy that there is another alternative and hope that RME is of better quality than the latter. My next wish is that it spreads like wildfire so that RME becomes as widely accepted.

dollarbill.gifI was excited about Google Checkout as an alternative but it hasn’t seemed to catch on like I had hoped. Maybe between Google and RME I will be able to go about as freely paying for things, like I once did when I used Paypal.

You may be wondering why I consider this post something frugal? You can get $25 for signing up! No strings, you can cash it out if you want. You also can receive an extra $10 for each person you refer. Go do it today, before the offer ends on April 15th!

Frugal Friday- Flip Flops

flipflopsth.gifI didn’t start wearing them to save money, I can say that I will continue to wear them and blame it on that fact. The real reason I wear flip flops or sandals so much is that (1) I’m lazy and they are easy to get on and off, (2) I can’t stand having my feet confined within shoes and/or socks, (3) I live in Florida and my feet get hot, (4) according to the Mr. I am a crunchy and that is part of the “look.” (more…)
