The Pre-Weekend Update…

Well, let me say it has been a very interesting, hectic last couple of days. I have wanted to chat with my blogger buddies, but have been rerouted it seems. I’m back, just in time for most of you to take a break on the weekend. In which case, I will hopefully be back full time on Monday to catch up with you all. Here is a laconic overview of the last few days…
  • Go buy a new kitchen range and have it delivered. New neighbor comes over to check out my house
  • Blogger crashed my site in some way. Half of my template was missing. I was frustrated and short on time
  • Rebuilt my site, but didn’t have time to post about new neighbor - - should be more to come regarding that subject!
  • Extended family problems, on phone constantly & used up all free time (aka nap time) talking to various members and genuinely wishing I wasn’t so far away. I am so sorry, Sis, I wish I was there with you!
  • Friends take me out to dinner for my birthday. I have a wonderful time and feel like a complete arse for questioning our friendship.
  • Power blew out in entire neighborhood. House becomes dark, hot and kids don’t sleep due to not having night lights
  • I try to bring A to bus stop, but entire cross street is blocked off with police cars and road flares - bus never comes. A/C guys call and say they are on way, A never makes it to school
  • Later this morning have workers come install new A/C unit that should save on electricity. I have friends, neighbor, and 4 extra toddlers come over to play
So this has been where I am at the last few. Busy and giving all I got. It hopefully will slow down soon, as I am falling behind in my organization.I would like to thank all my faithful blogger friends for sticking with me. You all have definitely helped carry me through some tough times in the past few months. You are irreplaceable. I have also been looking into some new sites in the past few weeks and have added them to my “daily fix” list. When you have a free moment, please check them out. There are some quality blogs out there!

Lastly, I appreciate the comments left for me, regardless if they are favorable or not. I would ask though, that if you would like to note on my post, that you wouldn’t be so cowardly as to remain anonymous (even though I do know who you are… Did you forget to whom I am married? J and I and several other readers and friends have enjoyed quite a good laugh at your expense though so -thank you!). Most of you know that I am able to track who leaves what on my blog, so I do want to warn those of you of that don’t know in case you really are scared of my finding out. Oh, and FYI… It’s PITY not PITTY…

Have a good weekend… y’all!

Hi Crystal- It wasn’t that I left an anonymous post because I was trying hide from you- I just didn’t have time to figure out this new website and how to use it. I have completely given up on trying to make time to blog since I have been incredibly busy the last few months, but haven’t given up keeping up with you. Back in the day, I know you used to visit my site- hope you remember me…if not, I still enjoy reading your blogs because your life seems to resemble mine so frequently (aka- friend crisis on the same day) I was feeling EXACTLY the same way… it was wierd. But anyways, I wasn’t the one who left the mean comment. Anyway, have a good weekend.

Glad you managed to have calmed things down enough to come and spare a bit of time for us.

I’d hate to get on the wrong side of you lol…. tonguelashing at 3 o’ clock!!

From the sounds of your days lately, you need to empty a cupboard out and then just make 15 minutes a day to go and hide in it and practice breathing!!

Glad your mates came good for you.

Yeah! Welcome back to blogworld - Think I’ll stick to msn for blogging, all this complicated techie stuff turns a cat’s thought into scribble.

As the saying goes, ‘what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger’ so see life’s hurdles as a challenge and an opportunity for growth and development.

And yes, I know, it never seems like that when it’s happening at the time, but it’s a good enough philosophy when reflecting on it afterwards.

As we always ask in work related debriefings “What went well? - What could we have done better?”
