Catchin’ Up
The past week has been extremely busy. A lot has happened and life has been good!
A week ago until now…

Tuesday- Toby finished his last day of school. My baby has completed one year of school. Are you getting this? My little boy is growing up! (For some reason this makes me cry)

Wednesday- My mom arrived and A had her last day of school. We were all so happy for both!

Thursday- We went to Chuck E Cheese and had a fun day with Nina.

Friday- Ty had his last day of school. I am almost certain that the smile on his face in this picture was due to him knowing he never having to go back to this class again. The last few months have sure been a struggle to get him to attend school.
Saturday- Ty learned to ride his bike with no training wheels! I have a picture coming to me, as my mom’s camera was used to document the momentous occasion. He was so proud of himself (as the rest of the family was/is too!)

Sunday- We said goodbye to Nina (what the kids call my mom) and headed on over to celebrate A’s 10th birthday. She had a good time at her bowling party (this cake is supposed to look like a bowling ball). I am not comfortable posting too many pictures of A (due to her bio-mom being uhm well, just being) and not having her friend’s parental ok to post pictures of their kids.
Monday- Grilled out and played with kids.
Tuesday- started our summer homeschooling. Day One, Success!
Now back to our regularly scheduled programming…

They grow up so fast, don’t they? At first it seems like it takes forever, but then it just goes at ligtning speed.

Good luck with homeschooling, I’ll be interested to hear how it goes.

It sounds like your week was as crazy as mine, but you seem so much more at ease with it all.
