Half Life

Time for a new schedule. My life has been creaping up to be only half lived. Crafts half finished. Laundry half folded and sitting around. Organization projects half done. Posts half written, sitting in draft mode until they become irrelevant.

While I am not one to become slave to schedule, I do need a structure to work within. If I make schedules too tight I tend rebel and not follow them. If I don’t have some kind of schedule I flounder around making list after list and then making a list of the lists.

It seems like every time I get a groove going, some major thing in life changes. The kids need more time with something, we get sick, or I pick up some more freelance work.

I am sick of halves. I want a whole life. I want to do it all and not be going crazy. Am I asking for too much? Probably. I will go down trying, though…

About every three months I got through an “overwelmed” stage. This results in waaaaay too much stuff being thrown or given away in my home…..all my credit card bills receiving more then due….C & J not talking to me much and well a venting blog.

Keep up the list but realize it’s your list, you can adjust it if you want to.

I hope that things get better for you soon! I hate feeling like that, and I felt that way last month.

You’ve just described my life. I’d love to hear if you figure out a solution. And if I figure out one, I’ll pass it on.

It must be something in the air. I keep trying to break through and finish something only to find myself wanting to go to sleep instead. I know I’ll feel better if I just hit “publish post.” If I just finish folding and putting the stuff away. Yet I resist and resist yes! as if it’s some sort of rebellion but against who? myself. ah. what a post. glad to know I’m not alone.
