Wine of the Week…

Well, I apologize to any of you, (and there seem to be a few), who did not appreciate the humor of my life. I know it was a borderline subject there, but I found it to be quite funny and am sorry to you who do not…
Moving on, I have decided upon the prompting of my husband to start blogging about the wines I drink. I am not sure if any of my readers are wine lovers such as myself, but once again, this blog is about me and as the aforementioned post has reminded me, about my life…So with out further ado, the wine for this week is….

Javillier Bourgogne des Forgets - Vintage 2003

This is a wonderful white burgundy wine made in France that is smooth with a full flavor. It has a medium body is texture is like satin. This wine is made from 100% Chardonnay grapes and is a great value.

I received 3 bottles of this wine from J for my birthday and so far is one of my favorites (although I have many). I would highly recommend this to red and white wine lovers alike. So I raise my glass… “Cheers to birthdays (Spice-the-Cat, FoX, and myself), and to my husband for bestowing this gift upon me, and to Patrick Javillier, who made this wine!”

    Hey! I think only moms can find that other post funny, but you have to vent! Take the other comments with a grain of salt - I would have never understood in the years B.C. (before Colleen) either!
    My best friend loves wine and is always trying to get me to try it and learn more about it. I prefer grapes! lol
    I am very glad to hear about your wonderful birthday and that your mum’s visit went well. Whew! :P Oh and we figured out what was causing the algae in the water cooler system of Shawn’s PC - the UV Black light that he had in the case to make it “glow”! Duh!

    Wine blogging… what a novel concept!!

    I suspect there could be some very drunken writings coming just around the corner… maybe I should start Guinness or Bacardi blogging??

    I would join in with the alcohol blogging but my tipple of the moment is vodka so what is there to say!!
    Like my red wine though hun so will be reading with interest and no doubt trying a few.
    As for the poop blog i’m not a mum and i found it highly entertaining!!

    I know nothing about wine… just that I occassionally like a good zinfendel. David served a very nice wine the night we rented a movie and watched it at his house… will have to find out what it was - I liked it. Maybe the 2 of you can educate me a little. Take care!
