Home of “30 days of thanks”
November is almost upon us, and we all know what that means… National Blog Posting Month (NaBloPoMo). It also means for this blog and several others, 30 days of thanks. For those of you who are new to the 30 days of thanks idea:
“Why not take a few minutes everyday in the month of November and post a short blurb on something that you are thankful for? I did this last year for NaBloPoMo and found it very therapeutic and some great blogging material.
Let’s make Thanksgiving not just a one day celebration, but a whole month!”
The idea of having to post everyday somewhat scares me and it will be difficult coming up with 30 things I am thankful for that are at least slightly different from what I listed last year. I am very blessed though, and it will be a good exercise to think about and share all those blessings in my life.
I enjoyed doing this so much last year that I decided to urge all of you to give it a try. There is still have one week to think and maybe jot down a brief list of items you could write about. If you want to see some examples, you can look over here. And, if you so choose to join in, either head over to ning and sign up, then join the 30 days of thanks group or you can leave me a comment and I will add you to this list.

Almost there. Looking forward to November whipping my sorry non-blogging butt back into shape!
And I’m loving the “30 Days of Thanks” gratitude idea. It’s so easy to get bogged down in the day to day, that it’s nice to have a daily reflection of what one is thankful for.
Note to self: must remember to add badge to site.

I already posted! I felt really grateful the other day so I got into the swing of things early.

I just found out about this recently. What a great idea!
I didn’t do the 30 days, but I’m doing it everyday from now through Thanksgiving as part of “Thanksgiving Comes First.”
