Yesterday was my 4 year wedding anniversary. My hubby and I have been together for a total of 6 years though. Just in our 6 years it seems we have been through a life time of trials. There have been times when I wasn’t sure we were going to make it through. We have even wondered at times if we should separate.

We also have grown tremendously over the past 6 years. And I am not just talking about my waist line. As a couple, I can honestly say that I love my hubby more today than the day I married him. I am not sure I would of been able to say that if we hadn’t been through so much stuff. As an individual, I feel like my hubby has helped me get to know “me”better. He is not the sugar coating type. He calls things like they are. I know that if I ask him a question he will tell me like it really is. Yes, hunny, you do look like you need to lose some weight….

I love him because he gets me and laughs with me. He thinks I am funny, not just an idiot. Like when I am trying to get Toby into bed while I pick out a story…”Toby go get into your cat, I mean dog, I mean the …. the thing you sleep in - bed” Yes, this is really true. As J so wonderfully puts it, I am the poster child of what happens if you do drugs.

He only gets somewhat annoyed that I ask everyday for a month who so and so is that he keeps talking about at work. He just rolls his eyes when I go to the store to get a gallon of milk and come home with a bunch of bananas and forget the milk. He even gets up early to go get it for me before work the next day.

He puts up with tons of drama with my family and even let my alcoholic, immature brother move in with us for 6 months. My brother stole from him, disrespected him, and lied and then J tried to help him even more. He tries to help people out whenever he can, even if it gets him in trouble with me sometimes.

There are many other reasons I love him, but for today I will just release these few. Happy Anniversary, Hun.
