Goodbye to you, my old friend…

I am closing NaBloPoMo on a low note.  I am sick.  I can barely look at the screen, so this will be a short post.  NaBloPoMo has been fun and challenging and I definitely would be up for doing it again.   I also have enjoyed writing about something that I am thankful for everyday.  That has been a lesson and an eye opener right there…

I am thankful for…

my readers.  Your support through this month and encouragement has been so wonderful.  I do blog for myself, but having daily feedback makes it even more sweet.  I also would like to thank my hubby again for fixing all the glitches that were in my blog.  One can now cruise around my blog easier and hopefully won’t be as frustrating.   I also would like to thank, her , for being so nice as to point this out and assist me in making my blog even better.

“In everything give thanks…”

It’s not over yet…

Me: Toby, please EAT! your dinner.

Toby: It’s yucky!

Ty: Here, Toby, this one is good. (pulling chicken out of mouth) I tried it.

I am thankful for…

my stepdaughter A. I have been debating all month on what to say on this subject. It is a very touchy and difficult issue in my life that I tend to step around it at all cost. She is a very trying child, but does have her good points too. I am not going to say much else here because in times past by both readers, family members and general idiots, I have been left nasty comments and told hurtful things. I try to look for something to be thankful for in all things, and while revieiwing what I was going to write when I came to her, I did find several things in which I am deciding to keep personal. For some reason, because I am her stepmom people have no problem holding back the over critical remarks. I am tired of everything I say and do being analyzed for some evil intention that I must have against her, so I decided when I started up my blog again this past year that I would just leave her out for the most part. I am sure in some way some people are judging that too. One thing I have learned when it comes to the subject of A, I just can’t win, so I won’t play the game anymore. But let it be said, I am thankful for her. enough said.
