Busy

Today I got a mattress- Yay. Carried it in the house by myself, just call me She-ra, and set it up for my little Toggers. I have baked cakes and cookies for the kid’s holiday parties, averted crisis, calmed tantrums and have worn myself out. If it weren’t for the constant yelling to “stop climbing the wall” (yes, they were literally climbing them- pretending to be Spiderman) then I would say today might put me in the running for the Mother of the Year Award. Right. Who am I kidding?

However, I do have something else on my mind. Myspace. Any of my bloggy friends on that network? Yes, I realize it is a teenagers playground, but I have used that to stalk some old friends from grade school and college- so whatever works.

I am keeping away from Facebook like Brittany Spears is to panties. It just isn’t gonna happen. I met up with my girl Catherine over on Myspace the other day. I already have been chatting with Lynsey and AlabamaBrands. So anyone else? Am I missing anyone?

    I heard that facebook wouldn’t allow pictures of breastfeeding or something like that and now there’s a lot of people protesting it. Who knows–I’m a myspace junky as you know!

    Glad you got the matress! Did he sleep so soundly?? And yes my dear, you would qualify for mother of the year in my book!

    Did I miss something? Why the facebook aversion? I find it easier to navigate than MySpace.

    Right, is it the breastfeeding thing? Because MySpace can be so raunchy and well, juvenile. I heard Facebook was a bit more mature.

    It’s such a crazy time of the year, isn’t it?! And you baking cookies for school parties… you impress me more and more all the time.
