Frugal Friday- Yard Sale’n It Up

yardsaleboxsign.jpgI am taking a short break in posting today because I am busy being frugal over here. I have a yard sale planned for tomorrow to get rid of some of my extra junk, and I am up to my eyeballs in price stickers. Anyone need some books or Dvds? I have got a lot of them. After tomorrow, hopefully, not so much.

But being the caring person that I am, I will leave you with a link that I found extremely helpful during my planning stages of the yard sale. Hope everyone has a great weekend, and I will try to get around to say “hi” in a few days…

*Updated: It helps if you don’t get rained out!  Hours: 8 Money: $0.  I guess I will try again in a few weeks.

Those are good points. I tried a yard sale a few years ago and made under $20. At that point I decided that I would make more via a tax write-off if I just gave the stuff to charity. And it would take less effort.
But they say that time heals all wounds and perhaps I am ready to give the ole’ yard sale a go again! Good luck with yours! And please report back with your insights when it is over.

What a bummer that you got rained out after all your preparations!! I hope that you are able to reschedule and have lots of success!

    Ouch!

Ugh, I’m sorry about that. Send your rain our way, we need it.

So sorry you got rained out. At least everything is priced now for the next time???

I’m terrible at yard sales! I always over-price and then fight to the death before I let anyone talk me down. Sorry you got rained out, what a waste of a day.
