My MIL…
I am thankful for…
My mother-in-law. We have not always seen eye to eye on everything, but she is a very loving grandmother. Since she moved to another part of Florida a year ago, we have missed her greatly. The kids were so happy to see her today and couldn’t wait to show her everything new about them and give her lots of hugs. We all have missed her Korean cooking, which isn’t even comparable to the fake dishes my hubby and I try to recreate. I miss her companionship and someone to
help me with the kids when I need a moment to myself. It made me so sad to see how happy the boys were only to know that in a few days there will be tears when she leaves.
Even though my “pictures are crooked” and I am “too hard on my kids” I still enjoy her company - right now
I am not sure that in a few days I will still feel this way, but she will always be special in my heart. We may drive each other crazy sometimes, but as far as mother-in-laws go, I could do so much worse. For her giving heart and overflowing love of my kids, this is why I love and am thankful for my mother-in-law.

Well fix your darn pictures then! Ha! I think all MIL’s have their special abilities to drive their DIL’s nuts! We get the pleasure of doing it when our boys get married. Actually scratch that….we’ll be cool!
