Picketing Poll
Last week’s poll was really a tough call for me. It is so difficult to not let the emotions and disgust get in the way of the actualization of the law, and even that is highly debatable. Here were the final results:
Do you think that people should be allowed to picket and protest @ funerals?
- No, free speech is great but not at a funeral (81%, 17 Votes)
- Yes, I believe in free speech at all times (19%, 4 Votes)
Total Voters: 21
This week’s poll is kind of a no brainer for me. I don’t want to give my ideas away on the whole thing yet, and many of you , I am sure, can already guess how I feel. Next week, I will share my thoughts, I know, you just can’t wait, right?
I am thankful for…
My bread machine. My mom gave this to me several years ago and it’s still ticking away. While I have discovered that bread actually taste better if it’s not cooked in the machine (thanks, Chichimama!), I still use it to do all the mixing. I have not bought one loaf of bread or bagels in months now. My family and I are loving it!

My friend mixes hers in the machine and cooks it in the oven too (SHes got a amzing whole wheat recipe she’s been raving about).
I might have to pull mine out and give it another try.
I abandoned mine when I got frusterated that it just didn’t taste great.

I’m very impressed! I would love to stop buying bread and make my own, but I haven’t gotten that organized yet. Good for you!

I’m bad, very very bad. My mom bought me a bread machine a few years ago too. I have yet to use it and I’ve lost the book!

I did the whole making of the bread thing and then baking it in the oven…do you have tried and true way to slice it uniformly before you store it?
