I have some good news and some bad. The Good? I had a moderately good time at
Busch Gardens today. The Bad? I derive most of my creativity from anger, depression, and annoyance. So you might not want to hold your breath for anything spectacular coming from my post tonight.I guess going to the theme park with your friends and kids in tow is not as bad as with your husband’s ex and step daughter. Plus, we have had a nice little reprieve in the weather this week, thanks to good old Hurricane Olivia. God, I love that name. I always wanted to name one of my little girls that. Or Saffron after my first doll. Ok, way off topic here. Anyway, it was the middle of the week, no lines, no heat, just a lot Brits running around. I think we may have the been the only ones there from America. Not that I mind at all (love listening to them talk), I was just wondering what the big deal is here? I mean, what’s so cool about Busch Gardens in Florida? We do have season passes there, but we live in Florida, and its not because we think it is so cool, just somewhere we can take the chillins’. I took the boys to the KaTonga show and they loved it. I have to say that it was not too bad, but all I could think of during the show was Simon from American Idol judging the singing which wasn’t too good. The costumes and acrobatics were the better part. Oh, and lastly… since I DO have season passes, plus get a discount for being a FLA resident, anyone that does want to come and visit our supposed wonderful park, just let me know and (being the daring person that I am), will be happy to have any of you accompany us to the park.
Moving on… I have yet to let you all know that my mom will be coming here to visit for my birthday. She called me up and surprised me with this the other day. She will only be staying for 2 days, but hopefully things will be fun. I am excited to see her and will be much more relaxed in my own setting…
Lets see… to answer a few of your question, I do IM. This is how my husband and I have most of our conversations! Most of the time it’s because he is at work, but this weekend we were in a little …uhm lets say…”discussion” and he went out in the garage and I was on my computer and we worked it out over IM. Are we weird or what? We speak best over IM I guess because I can think a little better when I am writing and not say things I don’t really mean… Anyway, I have service through MSN and Google. I think my MSN one is listed in my profile. If not, just let me know and I will email it to you…. I am happy to talk, but have to warn you all it can be sporadic depending on my sons!
Well, I hope everyone has a most enjoyable weekend. I am not sure what mine will bring, but hopefully some sleep and relaxation!

Glad you got to have some fun. And gosh, I cannot imagine why it was more enjoyable than when you went w/ your hubby’s ex… you’re a much better woman than I am. Hey, whatever way you and hubby work things out is great. As long as you are working things out, who cares about the method? Enjoy the weekend.

Wow, you went with the husband’s ex one time? Hmmm I give you way more credit then I could ever give myself! What a sweet ol’ gal you are!!
I’ll keep the ‘invite’ in mind incase I ever travel clear across the country to good ol’ Florida. I think I know of two people that live there…a girl I used to babysit for moved there about 2 years ago and well you.
So you need to keep your same friends but find some that would come to a party!!! It was a blast!!! Just tell your friends that the first half of the party isn’t bad. Ha!
