Just call me…
Toby never answers the question, “What’s your name?” when strangers are trying to be friendly and talk to him. He just gives them a strange look and waits for his very big mouthed brother to answer for him. This has started to concern me a bit, so I decided the other night whilst getting his jammies on to “practice” with him.
“Hi, what’s your name?”
“Mama!”
“Toby, can you tell me your name? Pretend like it’s not mama asking.”
“Hi! I’m White Milk. And these are my friends (pointing to imaginary people in my bedroom).”
I think I will jut stick to letting his brother answer for now…
