Last week’s poll had very low participation. It seemed that the few who did participate agreed that in some form or another teachers should be required to pass a drug test, in the very least, upon pre-hire. I have thought this would be a good idea for a while now, since my school district has some on-going issues. I guess my next step will be to write some letters.

This week’s poll is about gambling. I recently read somewhere that 79-90 % of Americans gamble! I have to admit that I was surprised at that number. It got me thinking about how many people I know that gamble and the few people who I know that have an addiction to gambling. I would like to know what you do. Do you gamble and if so on what?

I’m rolling the dice on this one and hope we get bigger numbers than last week!
